An image of what appears to be the purported RTX 3080's heatsink has leaked online indicating that NVIDIA will be introducing a new dual-fan mechanism with a huge cooling block and at least four heat pipes with the upcoming Ampere GPUs. The top-end GA102 GPU will use the PG133 board for the Founders Edition of the RTX 3090, RTX 3080 Ti, and RTX 3080, which will use the new cooling system while AiBs are supplied with the PG132 board that allows for custom cooling designs.

About 207 patches for a new AMD GPU codenamed Sienna CiChlid have been committed to the AMD Radeon Linux Driver. Evidence from these patches suggests that Sienna CiChlid could, in fact, be Navi 21 aka Big Navi. The Sienna CiChlid Linux driver patches confirm support for VCN 3.0 and DCN 3.0 while a leaked slide indicates GDDR6 support and advanced clock and voltage control.

Sales of PC hardware have seen a sudden surge during the COVID-19 pandemic, but OEMs fear that this upward trend may reverse as the situation returns to normalcy, according to a recent Digitimes report. However, gaming laptops may be an exception as they have been witnessing good growth and are expected to continue as such with MSI leading the way with record Q1 revenues.
