AOC has introduced a gaming monitor that could be ideal for those who own a Sony PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series X. Not only does the Agon AG324UX support 4K natively, but it also runs at 144 Hz and has two HDMI 2.1 ports. A USB Type-C port with Power Delivery could be handy for laptops, too.

AOC has unveiled a new gaming monitor in China, the Agon AG324UX. The IPS panel measures 31.5-inches across and has a native 3,840 x 2,160 resolution (4K). Additionally, the AG324UX runs at up to 144 Hz and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified with a 350 nit peak brightness.

The monitor also supports Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync, while it covers 95% and 109% of the DCI-P3 and NTSC colour spaces, respectively. Moreover, AOC has included a pair of 8 W speakers and an adjustable stand.

Impressively, the AG324UX has two HDMI 2.1 ports too, making it ideal for use with a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S|X. There is also a DisplayPort 1.4 connection and a USB Type-C port that can recharge devices at up to 90 W thanks to its support for USB Power Delivery. Furthermore, AOC has equipped the monitor with a four-port USB 3.0 Type-A hub.

Unfortunately, it is unclear if AOC will sell the AG324UX globally. We hope that it does, as its 1 ms response times (MPRT) would make it a decent candidate for pairing with a next-generation console, in our opinion.
