AOC announces new 27-inch and 32-inch monitors targeted at professionals
AOC has added four new monitors to its P2 series, which it markets towards professionals. While the four are all part of the same series, there are a few differences between them. For one, two have 27-inch panels, with AOC deciding upon 32-inch panels for the other two.
However, the monitors do not rely on the same display technology. For some reason, the U32P2CA has a 4K VA panel, with AOC utilising IPS panels for the Q27P2CA, U27P2CA and Q32P2CA. Incidentally, the Q27P2CA and Q32P2CA are both 2K monitors, whereas the U27P2CA is a 4K monitor. The differences do not stop there either, as the table below shows.
However, all monitors offer two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort connection and four USB 3.2 Type-A connections. Additionally, AOC has included a USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt and USB Power Delivery at up to 65 W. All monitors have dual speakers, too.
AOC states that the U27P2CA and Q32P2CA will arrive later this month for £369.99 and £289.99, respectively. By contrast, the U32P2CA will be available for £499.99 in September, with the Q27P2CA arriving a month later at £349.99.
