It has been a few weeks since the MOBIUZ EX3415R leaked, but BenQ has now listed the gaming monitor on its US website. Priced at US$999, the MOBIUZ EX3415R has a 34-inch panel size and a 1900R curvature. According to BenQ, the monitor has 1 ms Moving Picture Response Times (MPRT) and supports AMD FreeSync Premium. Accordingly, the EX3415R has a 144 Hz refresh rate, although it lacks the HDMI 2.1 support necessary for high-refresh-rate gaming on a next-generation console.
The MOBIUZ EX3415R runs at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and has a 21:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, BenQ has certified the monitor as VESA DisplayHDR 400 compatible and claims that it supports HDR10. The EX3415R should cover 98% of the DCI P3 colour space too, and offers several colour modes, including Cinema HDR and Game HDR. Moreover, BenQ has included 2.1 channel speakers consisting of dual 2 W tweeters and a 5 W woofer. Alternatively, the monitor has a 3.5 mm headphone jack should you wish to use external speakers.
In terms of I/O, the EX3415R has two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection and two USB 3.0 Type-A downstream ports. There is also a USB Type-B upstream port. Unfortunately, it is unclear when the EX3415R will be available to purchase, even though BenQ has announced its retail price.
