Lenovo has introduced the ThinkVision T24t-20 monitor with an aim to bolster remote learning experiences. The ThinkVision T24t is a 24-inch FHD IPS monitor that offers multi-touch capabilities for interaction with education content. Lenovo said that the display offers 2,880 sensors for effective touch interaction.
Lenovo is focusing a lot on the ergonomics of the ThinkVision T24t. The monitor allows VESA 100 mm x 100 mm wall-mounting, and the built-in ergonomic stand allows for an extended tilt range all the way to the desk level. The stand offers a -5° to 70° front-back tilt and up to a 90 mm lift range, but does not allow left-right swivel motion.
The ThinkVision T24t sports very minimal bezels on three sides and being an IPS panel, offers an effective 178° viewing angle. Lenovo said that the monitor covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut and offers a 6 ms normal response time that can go down to 4 ms in Extreme mode.
Lenovo has endowed the ThinkVision T24t with several connectivity options including HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C with DP1.2 Alt Mode, and four USB 3.2 Gen1 with Battery Charging (BC1.2) ports. With the USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, users can connect laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for both charging and data transfer.
The ThinkVision T24t-20 also comes bundled with Lenovo's ThinkColor software that allows easy adjustment of display settings via the touchscreen. Natural Low Blue Light allows for reducing harmful blue light emissions without drastically distorting the color profile. The monitor is also TUV Low Blue Light and Eyesafe certified.
The Lenovo ThinkVision T24t-20 will be available from Q2 2021 at prices starting from US$459.
