Nokia has confirmed that it will hold a product event on April 8, 2021, although it has been less than specific on what it will actually launch on this day. NokiaPowerUser asserts that it will mark the end of the brand's usual x.x smartphone naming convention in favor of more conventional-sounding X- and G-line devices in 2021.
Furthermore, they are also now slated to do so alongside the latest member of a pre-existing "letter" series from the OEM: the Nokia C20. Based on the specs mentioned in earlier reports, these new products will all be fairly affordable; however, the C20 might be the cheapest of the lot.
It is projected to start at about €89 (~US$106), for which money the buyer reportedly gets just 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The C20 might run Android 11, at least; however, this won't stop comparisons to the 1.4.
The X20 (also now said to be accompanied by an X10), on the other hand, might correspond better to the 2-3.x series, whereas the putative G10 (and also G20 now) might relate to the 4.x to 6.x series in terms of specs.
