Best Buy is currently selling the Lenovo Q24i IPS monitor for $80 USD off its initial launch price to be one of the least expensive 23.8-inch IPS monitors in the market. The Q24i is notable for its narrow bezels, thin form factor, and even FreeSync support to eliminate screen tearing when gaming.
Other features include a fast response time of just 4 ms, 75 Hz refresh rate, and a wide 72 percent NTSC gamut. As a result, the Q24i is actually a decent monitor for both gaming and graphics editing especially when compared to other displays in its same price range.
Key drawbacks to the Q24i include its unusual base and off-centered VESA mount. Otherwise, you'd be hard-pressed to find another budget monitor with the same set of features.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
