ViewSonic XG2705-2K: A 27-inch gaming monitor with thin bezels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 1440p native resolution and AMD FreeSync Premium support

The ViewSonic XG2705-2K gaming monitor features a 144 Hz, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel and 27-inch IPS panel, that has a 1,000:1 static contrast ratio and 1  ms response times (MPRT). Additionally, ViewSonic claims that the XG2705-2K's LED backlight should last up to 30,000 hours, equating to 1,250 days of continuous use.

Additionally, the XG2705-2K supports AMD FreeSync Premium for tear-free gaming several 'View Modes' for fine-tuning image quality. Specifically, these presets adjust the gamma, colour temperature, contrast, and brightness. Similarly, Viewsonic has included a game mode with pre-calibrated FPS, RTS, and MOBA game settings.

Moreover, the monitor has a DisplayPort and two HDMI 2.0 ports, along with a 3.5 mm jack and 2 W speakers. ViewSonic rates the monitor's power consumption at 34 W to 51 W, with a standby consumption of 0.5 W, but enabling eco mode reduces the former to between 21 W and 28 W.
