Deal | Auzai launches super-cheap 27-inch 2K monitor with 165 Hz refresh rate, G-Sync, and 1 ms response times for $249 USD after coupon
It's one of the most affordable 27-inch monitors you can get when considering the size and long list of gaming-centric features included. Hopefully its colors and build quality will be up to snuff.
Auzai is a Chinese manufacturer who specializes in inexpensive monitors like the ME16Z01 portable display or 21.5-inch M215BH desktop monitor. Now, the company is stepping up its game by launching inexpensive monitors targeting gamers on tight budgets. The 2021 27-inch Auzai gaming monitor is now shipping on Amazon for just $249 USD to be much cheaper than most other 27-inch gaming monitors equipped with similar features.
The paper specifications of the new Auzai monitor read like a high-end display from MSI or Asus. The 1440p native resolution, large screen size, 165 Hz refresh rate, full sRGB color coverage, and both G-Sync and adaptive sync compatibility would normally cost $350 or more from competitors. The main drawback to the display is that it is a TN panel meaning color accuracy and portrait viewing angles are likely inferior to IPS alternatives.
A strange discrepancy we've noticed in the marketing material relates to the "100% AdobeRGB" claim on the monitor press image as shown above. The official specifications, however, read 72 percent of NTSC instead which translates to much less than full AdobeRGB. We'll be testing the monitor ourselves soon to find out what users can expect and what cut corners there might be.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
