ViewSonic Elite XG320U is a 32-inch 4K 144 Hz gaming monitor with FreeSync Premium Pro, DisplayHDR 600, and HDMI 2.1 support
ViewSonic had announced a range of 32-inch gaming monitors under the Elite branding back in August. This included the Elite XG320Q, Elite XG320U, and the Elite XG321UG with mini LED backlighting. Now, ViewSonic is offering additional details and pricing information about the Elite XG320U.
The ViewSonic Elite XG320U is targeted primarily towards gaming on next-gen consoles such as the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5, though it offers specifications that would appeal to the larger PC crowd as well. The Elite XG320U supports HDMI 2.1 for 4K 144 Hz output. The refresh rate can be overclocked to up to 150 Hz by switching to DisplayPort-out. ViewSonic claims a 1 ms MPRT with the Elite XG320U.
The XG320U is capable of attaining 400 nits brightness and is certified for VESA DsiplayHDR 600. The display covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and is also AMD FreeSync Premium Pro-certified. Though the specs do not explicitly mention HDR support, FreeSync Premium Pro does imply HDR capabilities in supported games. ViewSonic employs a proprietary PureXP technology to reduce motion blur in games.
The Elite XG320U also comes with a few accessories such as a headphone hook and a mouse cable anchor. The monitor can be had for US$999.99 in the US from November. Global availability is yet to be announced.
