ViewSonic Elite XG271QG: 27-inch, 2.5K and 240 Hz gaming monitor to launch later this month for €1,099
ViewSonic has finally confirmed a release date and price for the Elite XG271QG, at least in Europe anyway. Initially, the company hoped to begin selling the Elite XG271G in Q3 2021, but that did not come to pass. Unfortunately, it remains unclear how much the gaming monitor will cost in the UK or the US, for example.
To recap, the Elite XG271QG has a 27-inch IPS panel that operates at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with a 240 Hz refresh rate. The 8-bit panel also has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m² typical peak brightness and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. The gaming monitor supports NVIDIA G-SYNC too, along with 1 ms GtG response times.
Additionally, ViewSonic claims that the Elite XG271QG covers 99% of the AdobeRGB colour space; other colour space coverages are unknown, though. For reference, the gaming monitor has two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and a USB 3.2 hub.
According to ViewSonic, the Elite XG271QG will be available later this month. Currently, its website only allows people to sign up to be notified of the monitor's release, but it has revealed that the Elite XG271QG will launch for €1,099.
