LG has presented a new thin-client, the 34CN650N. Available in a few configurations, all LG 34CN650N SKUs contain a 34-inch panel that operates at 2,560 x 1,080 pixels The 60 Hz panel also has 100% sRGB colour space coverage and 5 ms response times, along with a 300 cd/m² peak brightness.
While the LG 34CN650N has a PC built-in, it also has DisplayPort 1.2 and an HDMI port for connecting external devices. If you only want to use the LG 34CN650N as a thin-client, then you must make do with an Intel Celeron J4105 processor, 4 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. All components are passively cooled.
Additionally, the thin-client has a USB Type-C port, four USB Type-A ports and an RJ45 connection. The LG 34CN650N weighs 8.3 kg all-in and has a height adjustable stand that you can move up to 100 mm.
The LG 34CN650N relies on Igel OS, Stratodesk NoTouch OS or Ubuntu. All OSes should work with the thin-client's 1080p webcam. There is no word on much the LG 34CN650N costs, though.
