Last month, Xiaomi released a new 24.5-inch gaming monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support. Now, the company has begun teasing another external monitor, albeit perhaps one more geared towards professionals this time.
Based on the images that Xiaomi has shared so far, the monitor will be its first 4K monitor that is also PANTONE colour certified. Additionally, the monitor will cover 99% of the Adobe RGB and DCI P3 colour spaces, although other specifications remain unknown, currently.
However, one teaser shows that the monitor will have relatively thin bezels, at least on three sides. Xiaomi will unveil its new monitor on December 4 in China. Unfortunately, a global release date remains unknown at this point.
Typically, Xiaomi releases some of its monitors globally, such as the Desktop Monitor 1C and the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor. Unlike smartphones, Xiaomi's monitors take a few months to launch outside China, so do not expect to see this new monitor until a few months into 2022.
