Two of Samsung's large gaming monitors are available at discounts. The most significant discount is on the Neo G9 G95NA, a 49-inch monitor with Mini-LED backlights, 1 ms response times and a 240 Hz refresh rate.

Amazon US is still running some serious discounts on the Odyssey G9 and Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitors. Amazon does not state when these deals end, but orders placed now will be returnable until January 31, 2022. For reference, this return window applies to all items purchased between October 1 and December 31, 2021.

The cheaper option is the LC49RG90SSNXZA, which Samsung also refers to as the CRG9. The 49-inch monitor has a 120 Hz refresh rate, an 1800R curvature and a QLED resolution (5,120 x 1,440 pixels). The monitor has 4 ms GtG response times too, along with one HDMI port, two DisplayPort connections and four USB ports.

Currently, the CRG9 is down to US$949.99, a 21% and US$250 reduction on its US$1,199.99 list price. By contrast, the Neo G9 G95NA is available for US$1,999.99, a 20% and US$20% discount. While that may seem a lot pricier than the CRG9, the Neo G9 G95NA has a 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response times, and a 5,120 x 1,440-pixel resolution.

Additionally, the Neo G9 GN95A has HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and a USB hub. The 1000R monitor contains Mini-LED backlights too, still a rarity for gaming monitors.
