Samsung has started rolling out One UI 4 to the Galaxy Z Fold3. Currently, the update is available in South Korea, its first port of call for Samsung's premier foldable smartphone.

Earlier today, we reported that the Galaxy Z Flip3 had started receiving One UI 4 in Serbia. Now, the Android 12-based OS has landed in South Korea for the Galaxy Z Fold3, Samsung's other current-generation foldable smartphone. The Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series are expected to receive One UI 4 this month in South Korea too, along with the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and the Galaxy Z Fold2.

By contrast, Samsung will only upgrade the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3 to One UI 4 in other markets before 2022 rolls around. Hence, Samsung should start pushing One UI 4 to the Galaxy Z Fold3 in other regions before the end of December. Unfortunately, it is unclear what build number One UI 4 will arrive as.

Additionally, SamMobile states that Samsung has just offered Android 12 to devices running Android 11, not those on which people have been testing One UI 4 beta. Presumably, Samsung will issue a stable build for beta testers within the next few days. If you own a South Korean Galaxy Z Fold3, you can check if One UI 4 is ready to download by navigating to Software Update within the main Settings menu and selecting check for update.
