It seems that only the Galaxy S21 series will move onto One UI 4 and Android 12 this month. For some reason, Samsung will wait until December before upgrading the Galaxy Z series, along with the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series. Some Samsung devices must wait until July 2022 for their One UI 4 and Android 12 updates, though.

One UI 4 has arrived for the Galaxy S21 series today, as we have reported separately. The Android 12-based update arrives less than a year after One UI 3, which debuted in December 2020 with the Galaxy S20 series. While Samsung has confirmed that many other devices will receive One UI 4 at some stage, it actually went into greater detail in the Samsung Members app.

Reputedly, Samsung published a full list of devices that it plans to upgrade to One UI 4 and Android 12, which it swiftly deleted. Hence, Samsung may change some details, or timings. Additionally, it appears as though the release dates will vary by region, although this is typical for Android OEMs.

Nonetheless, Samsung has seemingly decided only to upgrade the Galaxy S21 series this month, regardless of where you live. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Z series will see One UI 4 in December 2021. By contrast, Samsung will make cheaper devices, such as the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and the Galaxy A21s, wait until summer 2022 for its new OS.

We have included the full list of devices that should receive One UI 4 and Android 12 below. Supposedly, Samsung will upgrade over 60 devices to One UI 4. Presumably, all Samsung devices released after today will launch with One UI 4, like the Galaxy S21 FE.
