Leaked Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra marketing images show the design differences between Samsung's next flagship tablets
While OnLeaks leaked renders for the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra in October, Evan Blass has gone one better. As is always the case with Blass, he has got his hands on marketing assets, which we have embedded throughout this article. On the one hand, the images verify OnLeaks' renders, although his reputation precedes him at this point.
On the other hand, it also confirms that Samsung will reserve a notched display for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. By contrast, the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Plus will feature regular flat panels, albeit with different diagonal lengths. The Galaxy Tab S8 Plus appears to have thinner display bezels than the non-Plus model, too.
Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has two front-facing cameras, unusual for a tablet. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the largest of the trio, with a 14.6-inch display compared to the 11-inch and 12.4-inch ones in the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, respectively. All are expected to launch with high-end SoCs, but the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 could only be making its way to the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, not the Galaxy Tab S8.
Samsung is tipped to announce the Galaxy Tab S8 series in early 2022. The trio could arrive alongside the Galaxy S22 series, which is thought to be arriving at a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 8.
