Deal | Razer Blade Stealth 13: Compact gaming laptop down to US$1,499.99 with an OLED or 120 Hz IPS display

Black Friday may be over, but Amazon US is still offering a sizeable discount on some devices. Currently, the retailer has reduced the Razer Blade Stealth 13 by US$500, a 25% saving on its list price.

Specifically, the US$1,499.99 configuration comes with an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q GPU, along with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The configuration has an OLED touchscreen display that operates at 60 Hz, too.

Incidentally, we reviewed this configuration in September. While we praised its excellent picture quality and fast response times, the OLED panel uses PWM to change brightness levels, a method that can cause eye strain and headaches in some people. Additionally, the OLED model has lower battery life than IPS configurations.

Alternatively, Amazon US also sells an almost identical IPS configuration for US$1,499.99. Not only will this model lack PWM flicker and will have better battery life than its OLED sibling, it has a 120 Hz refresh rate. Originally, this configuration cost US$1,799.99, for reference.
