@yabhishekhd has discovered that another Xiaomi smartphone has recently passed through the TENAA in China. As we have reported separately, the company has also certified two other smartphones with the TENAA, possibly the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Based on previous leaks, it seems the third device is the Xiaomi 12X, the Xiaomi 12's smaller sibling.
The device appears as '2112123AC', the Xiaomi 12X's expected model number. Unsurprisingly, 2112123AC is a 5G smartphone. Additionally, the TENAA confirms that Xiaomi has tested it with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, two memory configurations in which it sells the Mi 11.
The Xiaomi 12X should arrive globally as 2112123AG. Both variants are tipped to launch with a Snapdragon 870, a re-branded Snapdragon 865 Plus. Additionally, the Xiaomi 12X could have a 120 Hz and AMOLED display, along with a 50 MP primary camera. The device is believed to offer 67 W wired fast charging too; wireless charging support is unknown at this stage.
