Xiaomi 12: New leak reveals specs and renders of Xiaomi's imminent 6.2-inch flagship phone
Xiaomi's next-gen flagship phone, the Xiaomi 12, is tipped to debut later this month. While leaks have slowly revealed specs of the phone, nothing tangible was known about the phone's design. All of that has changed now, however, as new leaks have revealed renders and other important details of the Xiaomi 12.
As shared by OnLeaks in collaboration with Zouton, the Xiaomi 12 will feature a 6.2-inch display. Seeing as the Mi 11 sported a massive 6.81-inch display, this is a rather unexpected move by Xiaomi. It should excite fans of smaller-sized phones, though. The Xiaomi 12 and the Samsung Galaxy S22 look set to be smaller than their predecessors and we could be looking at a return to smaller premium phones in the future.
Some would consider the design of the Xiaomi 12 to be a bit boring, as it seems to follow the same beats as previous phones like the Xiaomi Civi. Interestingly, the source claims the Xiaomi 12 sports a FHD+ display, which would be a downgrade on the Mi 11's QHD+ screen. The smaller display comes at a cost, it appears.
Dimensions of the Xiaomi 12 are listed at 152.7 x 70.0 x 8.6 mm. Other provided specs include 8 GB of RAM, a triple 50 MP camera setup, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and a 5000 mAh battery.
So this is the #Xiaomi12! (360° video + gorgeous 5K renders + dimensions)
