Xiaomi to release the Mi 11 Youth Vitality Edition in another Mi 11 Lite refresh
Digital Chat Station claims that Xiaomi is on the verge of releasing another Mi 11-branded smartphone, despite the impending arrival of the Xiaomi 12 series. Writing on Weibo, the leaker explains that the device is the Mi 11 Youth Vitality Edition, building on the Mi 11 Youth Edition, which it sells in China.
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has swapped the Snapdragon 780G in the Mi 11 Youth Edition for the SM7325, Qualcomm's part number for the Snapdragon 778G. Incidentally, there is also the SM7325-AE, which Qualcomm markets as the Snapdragon 778G Plus. By contrast, the Snapdragon 780G is the SM7350.
Additionally, Digital Chat Station asserts that the Mi 11 Youth Vitality Edition will launch with a new 'sunny white snow' colour scheme. It is unclear when Xiaomi will launch the device, though. Overall, the Mi 11 Youth Vitality Edition sounds an awful lot like the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, released globally last month following its announcement in mid-September.
Specifically, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE has a Snapdragon 778G SoC and is available in Snowflake White, also known as Diamond Dazzle. Xiaomi does not sell the 11 Lite 5G NE by another name in China either, so we suspect the Mi 11 Youth Vitality Edition is its Chinese equivalent.
