New Xiaomi smartphone to launch globally soon with an 'aggressive' camera setup, 67 W charging and a Snapdragon 870
While Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 12 next month, @stufflistings believes that the company has another flagship smartphone up its sleeve. Incidentally, it has only been two months since Xiaomi unveiled the 11T Pro, a cheaper flagship with a Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 108 MP primary camera.
According to @stufflistings, the mysterious device has a Snapdragon 870 SoC, effectively re-named Snapdragon 865 Plus. Additionally, he claims that the device will support 67 W fast charging, a higher wattage than the Mi 11 is capable of.
Sharma adds that Xiaomi will integrate 'aggressive' camera hardware too, details of which remain unknown at this stage. Reputedly, Xiaomi will release this device outside China and possibly even India. Presumably, this means that the device will make it to Europe, the UK and other markets like Russia.
Incidentally, Xiaomi has submitted a device matching that description with the TENAA in China. The device carries the model number 2112123AC, frequently referred to by leakers as 'L3A'. Theoretically, this device could be the so-called Xiaomi 12 mini, although we would be surprised if Xiaomi managed to equip a smaller handset with 'aggressive' cameras. Xiaomi is tipped to launch the start of the Xiaomi 12 series globally in January 2022.
