Xiaomi has unveiled its fourth Redmi Note 11 series device, just five days before it announces the Redmi Note 11T in India. While the Redmi Note 11T is a variant of the Redmi Note 11, Xiaomi's new handset is an even cheaper alternative. For reference, Xiaomi is expected to launch the regular Redmi Note 11 globally as the POCO M4 Pro 5G.
Xiaomi's latest smartphone is the Redmi Note 11 4G, a slightly smaller version of the Redmi Note 11 with more budget hardware. Specifically, the Redmi Note 11 4G measures 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92 mm and weighs 181 g, making it slightly shorter, thinner, lighter and thicker than its 5G counterpart.
Accordingly, the Redmi Note 11 4G has a smaller display, but it still measures 6.5-inches across. Xiaomi has equipped it with a 1080p panel too, and one that operates at up to 90 Hz. According to the company, the Redmi Note 11 4G can adjust its display refresh rate between 45 Hz, 60 Hz and 90 Hz.

A MediaTek Helio G88 powers the Redmi Note 11 4G, which Xiaomi complements with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage. A 4 GB of RAM variant is available as well, both with 5,000 mAh batteries that can be recharged at up to 18 W.
Additionally, the Redmi Note 11 4G has three rear-facing cameras, a 50 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro. Xiaomi has also equipped the device with an 8 MP front-facing camera that sits beneath a punch-hole in its display.
The Redmi Note 11 4G starts at CNY 999 (~US$156) in China with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. By contrast, the 6 GB of RAM version retails for CNY 1,099 (~US$172); both variants are available in three colours. For context, the Redmi Note 11 arrived for CNY 1,199 (~US$188) with 4 GB of RAM and CNY 1,299 (~US$203) with 6 GB of RAM. Both variants have 128 GB of storage.
Xiaomi is accepting pre-orders in China now, but the device's first inaugural sale will begin on December 1. Presumably, Xiaomi will release the Redmi Note 11 4G globally at some stage, possibly as the POCO X4 in India and the POCO X4 NFC elsewhere, or the Redmi 10 2022.
