Xiaomi has taken another step towards re-releasing the Redmi 10, a device that we reviewed last month. A few days ago, @kacskrz revealed that Xiaomi had certified 21121119SG and 22011119UY as the Redmi 10 2022, which has now surfaced at different regulatory bodies.
Specifically, @yabhishekhd has spotted the smartphone at the EEC, IMDA, SDPPI, TKDN and the TUV in Russia, Singapore, Indonesia and Germany, respectively. While the certification documents do not provide many details about the Redmi 10 2022, they imply that Xiaomi intends to release the smartphone globally.
Incidentally, @kacskrz has offered detailed the device's camera hardware. Reputedly, Xiaomi has equipped the Redmi 10 2022 with its predecessor's cameras. Specifically, the Redmi 10 2022 has a 50 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide and dual 2 MP cameras for calculating depth of field information and for helping take macro shots. Reportedly, Xiaomi will even use the same sensors, like the Sony IMX355 as an ultra-wide-angle camera.
Other specifications remain unknown, currently. However, we would expect the Redmi 10 2022 to match the Redmi 10's hardware, including a 90 Hz display, up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Similarly, it is unclear when Xiaomi will announce the Redmi 10 2022.
