Xiaomi has released numerous smartwatches this year, including several under its Redmi sub-brand. Most recently, the company unveiled the Redmi Watch 2 Lite, having also launched the Redmi Watch 2 and Redmi Smart Band Pro in October alone. Similarly, Xiaomi only start selling the Mi Smart Band 6 NFC globally as of September.
Now, LetsGoDigital and @stufflistings have discovered regulatory body registrations for a new Xiaomi smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch S. The smartwatch will not be consigned to China either; Xiaomi made one registration in Peru. Hence, it seems likely that Xiaomi will release the Watch S globally.
Incidentally, Realme already sells the Watch S, along with the Watch S Pro. Based on the price of current Xiaomi smartwatches, it seems that the Xiaomi Watch S will compete with its Realme namesake on price, too. Unfortunately, neither listing confirms any details about the Xiaomi Watch S, beyond its name. Renders, specifications and a release date remain unknown, as well.
