A new and affordable Redmi smartphone has appeared at Camera FV-5, the FCC and the TUV. The device, which has the model number 2201117TG, has a 50 MP primary camera and an SD card slot, among other features.

@yabhishekhd has discovered another upcoming Redmi smartphone at multiple regulatory bodies. Earlier this week, the leaker noticed that Xiaomi had certified the Redmi 10 2022 with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), a typical sign that a company plans to release a device in Europe.

While the Redmi 10 2022 is the 21121119SG and 22011119UY, Xiaomi has certified the 2201117TG with Camera FV-5, the FCC, and the TUV. Unfortunately, none reveal the device's marketing name, although the FCC and TUV list 2201117TG as part of the Redmi series.

However, Camera FV-5 confirms that 2201117TG has a 50 MP rear-facing camera, along with a 13 MP front-facing camera. The device has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and an SD card slot too, a further hint that this is a budget handset. Its SoC, dimensions and display remain unknown at this stage, though.

For some reason, Xiaomi will launch the 2201117TG running Android 11 and MIUI 12.5, rather than the newer Android 12. Presumably, Xiaomi will launch the 2201117TG soon, given its appearance at multiple regulatory bodies and Camera FV-5.
