The Redmi Note 11T 5G has been launched in India with impressive specs, such as 50MP dual rear cameras, a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and a 90Hz LCD screen. Its price starts at INR 14,999 (US$200), and it will be available for purchase on December 7 via Amazon and Mi Store.

In true Xiaomi fashion, the recently-unveiled Chinese Redmi Note 11 variant has hit Indian shores under a different moniker, the Redmi Note 11T 5G. It carries forward its predecessors' legacy of offering 5G connectivity at affordable rates. There are several other QoL improvements, such as excluding the macro/depth sensors in the camera array and virtual RAM.

The Redmi Note 11T 5G's specs are hardly a mystery, as it has been on the market for a while. A MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC enabled 5G connectivity in both SIM card slots. Memory and storage are capped at 8GB and 256GB, respectively. One can expand the former via software by up to 3GB and the latter via a micro SD card. Lastly, the smartphone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that one can top the battery up from zero to 100% in just an hour.

Moving on to the optics, we get a 50MP primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 16MP front-facing module. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and DCI-P3 colour gamut support. Other Redmi Note 11T 5G features include an X-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback, dual speakers and microphones, an IR blaster, and an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance. It runs MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

The base Redmi Note 11T 5G variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will set you back by INR 14,999 (US$200). Bumping the storage up to 128GB and 256GB will set you back by INR 15,999 (US$213) and 17,999 (US$239), respectively. ICICI Bank cardholders can get an instant discount of INR 1000 (US$14) on Amazon and Xiaomi's official stores when it hits shelves on December 7, 2021.
