Xiaomi has teased the Redmi Note 11T series for launch in China over the past few weeks. On Weibo today, the company finally announced a launch date for the new phones—May 24.
In addition, details of the Redmi Note 11T Pro have now also been revealed. According to an image making the rounds on Weibo, the Redmi Note 11T Pro will sport a 144 Hz LCD. A display size isn't listed but considering recent Redmi Note releases, a 6.67-inch screen can be expected.
Under the hood of the Redmi Note 11T Pro will be a MediaTek Dimensity 8100. Xiaomi positions the Redmi Note 11T phones as performance-focused offerings and the Dimensity 8100 delivers performance in spades, with better sustained gaming performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Camera-wise, the Note 11T Pro is said to line up with a 64 MP main camera. Battery capacity is listed at 5080 mAh, with 67 W charging to keep charge times down.
As it stands, it appears Xiaomi will launch three models: the Redmi Note 11T, Redmi Note 11T Pro, and the Redmi Note 11T Pro+. The company has confirmed a Dimensity 8100, improved heat dissipation, and LPDDR5 RAM for the range-topping Redmi Note 11T Pro+, and it'll be interesting to see what differentiates it from the Redmi Note 11T Pro.
