Alongside the Xiaomi Band 7 and Redmi Note 11T series, Xiaomi will also launch new TWS earbuds on May 24 in China. The Redmi Buds 4 Pro are on the way, and they're set to land with better noise reduction and Bluetooth 5.3 support.

Xiaomi has a big event scheduled for May 24 in China where it will debut the new Redmi Note 11T series and the Xiaomi Band 7. In addition to those offerings, the company also plans to launch new earbuds: the Redmi Buds 4 Pro.

The company has now confirmed that the Redmi Buds 4 Pro will make its debut alongside the Redmi Note 11T series and Xiaomi Band 7. As is typical of Xiaomi, the upcoming earbuds are already being teased with impressive-sounding marketing speak intended to advertise performance.

The Redmi Buds 4 Pro are said to offer "Redmi's strongest noise reduction so far". Of course, it's unlikely that actually means active noise cancellation. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro offered "35dB deep noise cancellation", and the Redmi Buds 4 Pro will go even further with 43dB noise cancellation, as well as "intelligent wind noise reduction" and "3000 Hz broadband noise reduction".

While all of those only tally out to Xiaomi finding interesting ways to claim better passive noise cancellation than the Redmi Buds 3 Pro offered, the Redmi Buds 4 Pro will actually land with Bluetooth 5.3 support. Most phones on the market are limited Bluetooth 5.2, however, but this still shows Xiaomi's willingness to equip even its budget products with new technology.
