Redmi Note 11T: Xiaomi confirms performance-focused midrange phones for launch this month
Last week, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing teased a new set of devices from Xiaomi that would succeed the experience-focused Redmi Note 11 series. The company has now officially confirmed that those phones will be branded as the Redmi Note 11T series.
The official teaser image shared on Weibo by the company affirms the moniker of the new phones, while also confirming that they will debut this month. Reports from a while ago claimed that Xiaomi would launch the Redmi Note 12 series in China this month but the company looks to be branding the phones as the stop-gap Redmi Note 11T lineup instead.
As for details of the Redmi Note 11T series, the phones are expected to offer 144 Hz LCD screens. They're intended to be a performance-focused alternative to the Redmi Note 11 phones and have been tipped to feature MediaTek's new Dimensity 1300 and Dimensity 8000 chipsets. We'll keep you updated either way.
