Tipster @SkullziTV recently shared a new leaked image from Starfield, apparently showing off an interior scene. @SkullziTV also stated that Bethesda would be presenting Starfield at E3 2021, and that the game will likely launch in Q1 2022.
The visuals in the screenshot don't exactly stand out. However, it's important to remember that this image - and other Starfield pictures - are from an early 2018 build of the game, before PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X specs were finalized. We expect the actual game to look better, in line with expectations for what is likely a ninth-gen exclusive title.
The potential Starfield release date is interesting in and of itself, but it also hints at a rough timeframe for the Elder Scrolls VI. Bethesda announced Elder Scrolls VI back in 2018, but stated that the game would only arrive after Starfield. This means we'll likely have to wait until 2023 at the earliest for the next game in the series. While this is a considerable wait, it could result in a deeper gameplay experience and better visuals, since eighth-gen AAA titles will be phased out by then.
