Starfield prices revealed by new leak; Constellation Edition to cost US$299
Microsoft is all set to unveil a bunch of (hopefully) exclusive and Xbox Game Pass-bound games at its showcase tomorrow (June 11). However, the main highlight will be Starfield, which has a dedicated showcase. Hot on the heels of the grand reveal, leaker Bilibili-kun (via Dealabs) has revealed how much Bethesda's new space-themed RPG could cost.
To nobody's surprise, the standard edition of Starfield will cost the equivalent of US$69.99. The "Premium Edition" ups the price to €105-115 (unconfirmed) on PC and Xbox, respectively. Lastly, the "Constellation Edition" will come in at US$299 and €299. Remember that prices could change based on regions and the platform you're buying it from.
It is unclear what extra content Bethesda will offer with Starfield's Premium and Constellation editions. The latter will likely throw in some physical merch. Some in-game cosmetics and a season pass for future expansions could be offered. Bethesda's RPGs usually come with a lot of post-launch DLCs. Starfield being a new IP will undoubtedly get some. If Fallout 4 is anything to go by, one of them might be an absolute banger, with the others chasing its coattails.
