After recently introducing the Alienware m15 R4 and Ryzen Edition R5, Dell is offering yet another Alienware m15 laptop — the Alienware m15 R6. The Alienware m15 R6 offers several Tiger Lake-H and RTX 30 Ampere GPU options along with displays up to 360 Hz and an optional CherryMX ultra low-profile mechanical keyboard.

Dell's Alienware has seen quite a few interesting launches of late. At CES 2021, Dell introduced the Alienware m15 R4 with Intel Comet Lake-H and NVIDIA Ampere RTX 30 Laptop GPUs. Recently, Dell also launched the Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 featuring AMD Ryzen Cezanne APUs. Now, with the introduction of the Intel 11th gen Tiger Lake-H series, we are getting to see yet another Alienware laptop — the Alienware m15 R6.

The Alienware m15 R6 offers Tiger Lake-H CPU options including the Core i5-11400H, Core i7-11800H, and the Core i9-11900H. There does not seem to be a Core i9-11980HK option this time around. The m15 R6 offers an assortment of storage options including single-drive and dual-drive non-RAID combinations up to 4 TB while the RAM can be configured up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200.

Graphics options range from the RTX 3050 Ti to the RTX 3080 Laptop GPUs with all GPUs from the RTX 3060 onwards offering the Dynamic Boost Max-Q feature up to 10 W. The TGP of all GPUs is rated at 115 W with the exception the RTX 3050 Ti, which is rated at 80 W.

Display options are similar to the m15 Ryzen Edition R5 and include FHD 165 Hz, FHD 360 Hz, and QHD 240 Hz panel options. The FHD panels offer 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB coverage while the QHD variant can go up to 400 nits with 100% DCI-P3 coverage.

Also on offer is Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling made of copper alloy thermal components, optional CherryMX ultra low-profile mechanical keyboard with per-key AlienFX lighting, Killer AX1650 Wi-Fi 6 and Killer E2600 Gigabit Ethernet, and an assortment of ports including a Thunderbolt 4 port on configurations with the RTX 3060 and above.

The Alienware m15 R6 comes in a Dark Side of the Moon finish and will be available this Summer at prices starting from US$1,299.99.
