Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects the upcoming MacBook Pro and MacBook Air line to be fitted with scissor switch keyboards owing to the good feedback received from users of the 16-inch MacBook Pro. Kuo also predicts that Apple will start using its own custom SoCs in MacBooks to be released in late 2020 or early 2021 along with a complete redesign of the MacBook lineup in late 2021.

32-core (2x 16) Intel Ice Lake Server Geekbench benchmarks leak — 80% more performance than AMD Epyc Rome 7702P with half the cores?

Geekbench listings of what appears to be a 32-core (16-core dual-socket) Intel Ice Lake Server processor have surfaced. Ice Lake Server appears to put up a strong show against AMD's Epyc Rome 7702P in Geekbench 4 running on Windows Server 2019 with half the number of cores. AMD, however, has the core-count advantage, which still eludes Intel owing to lower yields on the 10nm process.

Noted leaker Evan Blass posted possible billboard ads for the Google Pixel 4a, which is expected to launch later this year. The ads, if true, confirm many of the rumors surrounding the phone's design, including its hole-punch selfie camera and square housing for the rear-facing cameras. Perhaps most importantly, the ads also confirm a killer price tag; the Pixel 4a will launch at $399.

A PCMark 10 battery life test result of an AMD Ryzen 7 4800U-powered laptop has leaked online. Although specific details about the laptop itself are not available, the test seems to indicate a runtime of 13 hours 52 minutes on a 70 Wh battery. This is a very good runtime and probably higher than most Intel-powered counterparts. The result is also not too far away from what a typical Snapdragon 8cx-powered WoA laptop would score.

Sony is still withholding the final design of the PlayStation 5, leaving console fans little else to do than scour the Internet in the hope of finding a clue or a leaked image. A new “leaked” design looks nothing like the numerous rumor-based PS5 renders that have been shared online, and it is so ridiculous it should at least cheer up impatient next-gen console watchers.

Rumour | Evidence of a 7,936 CUDA core NVIDIA Ampere GPU appears on Geekbench

NVIDIA Ampere may only be a few weeks away, and now someone has spotted a 7,936 CUDA core GPU on Geekbench. The card sports 32 GB of VRAM and a 1.1 GHz clock speed too, whetting fans appetites for what may be launched at GTC 2020 this month.

The Sony WF-1000XM3s are widely regarded as some of the best TWS earbuds out there. However, they do have some discrepancies, one of which is the absence of Qualcomm's aptX HD Bluetooth codec. A new leak suggests that this is to be addressed soon.

Nokia is coming to an end, with sales and mergers under consideration

Bloomberg reports that Nokia is coming to an end because of "fierce competition" from the likes of Ericsson and Huawei. The company is currently reviewing various, including asset sales and mergers. Nokia also states that it does not expect a major recovery in profits until next year at the earliest.

This is how the display of the Huawei P40 Pro should look, with it curving into its frame on all four sides. The photo in question has been making the rounds for some time now, but a reliable Huawei leaker has now been able to confirm the quad-curve design. The P40 Pro has a rather thick, pill-shaped, punch hole for its dual selfie cameras, though.

Intel Core i9-10980HK hits 5.27 GHz on Geekbench while surpassing the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX in multi-core performance

Is 5.0 GHz not enough for you on a laptop? Well, how about 5.27 GHz? That is apparently what the Core i9-10980HK can operate at, the Comet Lake-H successor to the Core i9-9980HK. The clock speed boost allows the Core i9-10980HK to achieve a multi-core score over 32,000 in Geekbench, eclipsing even something like the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX.
