Rumor | The Samsung Galaxy M21 has an Indian launch date
Samsung is currently updating its Galaxy A and M smartphone lines with 2020 models that all have a 1 in their product names in place of last year's 0. Now, it seems the M20 is one of the next phones to get this treatment. The Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) states that, according to relevant sources, its successor has a debut scheduled for later this year.
This event is likely to be held in - or, given current events, rather directed at - India. The Samsung Galaxy M20 debuted in that market, after all. Its upcoming successor is currently thought to have 4GB of RAM and to run on One UI 2. Furthermore, IANS also now asserts that it will have a triple rear camera with a 48MP main sensor.
It is also now rumored to have a battery of 6000mAh in capacity. This is odd, as it suggests the OEM is cannabalizing the M30 series' usual party trick for this new phone. However, similarly, the M21 is also believed to have the same processor as the Galaxy A51. All in all, these indications may make the purported March 16, 2020 launch worth following.
