A whole week after failing to unveil the Exynos 2200 on the scheduled date, Samsung has now finally debuted the chipset without warning. The star of the show is, of course, Samsung's new RDNA 2-based GPU—the Xclipse 920—which Samsung promises will deliver console-quality graphics.

Reportedly, Samsung is looking to thin out the accessories it bundles with its tablets, starting with the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus and Tab S8 Ultra will not have a power supply in their boxes, matching the trend that has affected flagship smartphones. Samsung will continue to include the S Pen with its premium tablets, though.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab A8, a 10.5-inch budget tablet running Android 11. The Galaxy Tab A8 is available in three colours, three memory configurations and starts at US$229.99. LTE models are unavailable currently, though.

New rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have emerged in regard to the different RAM and storage configurations that will be made available. It seems a supersize variant is on the cards that will be powerful enough to put many laptops to shame. The S22 Ultra is expected to be launched in February.

Recent reports excited Samsung fans in Europe with the idea of the Galaxy S22 Ultra being shipped with the Snapdragon Gen 1 across all regions. New information might just have put paid to those thoughts, however, as it now appears that the Galaxy S22 series will ship with the Exynos 2200 in Europe.
