Galaxy S22 Ultra sparse box contents leak as Samsung preps Smart Tags and 45 W charger for pre-order gifts
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will make its grand debut alongside its cheaper siblings, the Galaxy S22 and S22+, on February 9. Contents of the Galaxy S22 Ultra's packaging box have now been revealed in a new leak, and it appears buyers are set to get a rather light package.
As shown in an image that looks to be official, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will ship with just three accessories in its box: an S-Pen, a sim ejector, and a Type-C to Type-C cable. No charging brick, as has become typical.
Interestingly, though, it appears Samsung could offer a 45 W charging brick as a pre-order gift for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's unknown if that offer would extend to the Galaxy S22+, though. The Galaxy S22 will be limited to 25 W. In addition, Samsung has already confirmed that it will provide a Samsung SmartTag as well. The leak source also reckons that the company could provide items like the Galaxy Buds Plus earbuds or cases on a case-by-case basis, pun unintended.
