The Mi Mix 3 5G has been mostly ignored by Xiaomi so far, as it remains on Android Pie and MIUI 10, almost eighteen months after it was launched. A new tip indicates the phone will receive the MIUI 12 update later in the year, but Android 10 remains an improbability.

New sales data from German retailer Mindfactory has revealed that 34 times more Matisse AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processors were sold than the Intel Core i7-10700K, which was the best-selling Comet Lake chip for this particular period. AMD took 87.25% of the sales share compared to Intel’s paltry 12.75% portion.

At the very least, the manufacturer should have a disclaimer saying that the renders — which are currently being used to advertise the laptop — may not represent the laptop fully.

Xiaomi fans may have had a rude awakening when purchasing the Poco F2 Pro on Mi.com. Proudly announced for the "flagship killer price" of €499, it turns out that Xiaomi never intended to sell the Poco F2 Pro for that price at all.

It has been found that a certain wallpaper can soft-brick several Android phones particularly newer Samsung phones and Google Pixels. An AMD Ryzen 5 4600HS APU sample has been spotted on UserBenchmark as part of an Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop. Intel’s new Comet Lake Core i9-10900K has been spotted in a couple of benchmarks. The 10-core desktop processor performed incredibly well in 3DMark’s Time Spy where it produced a high CPU score. With MIUI 12 rumoured to be available from MIUI 12, Xiaomi has decided to push another Android 9.0 Pie-based update to the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro. While Xiaomi has pledged to update the CC9 Pro to Android 10 by the end of this month, the arrival of the latest update for EU handsets all but ends hopes that they were in line for the same treatment.

UserBenchmark has now also been banned by r/Intel, while r/AMD has issued a restriction.

Some PlayStation 4 consoles have reportedly been rendered inoperable by the latest software update. The 7.50 firmware allegedly forces some consoles into a boot loop. Other users state that their disk drives stopped working after installing the update.

A Comet Lake Intel Core i5-10600 sample has been spotted on UserBenchmark, where it managed an “outstanding” bench result and scored particularly highly in the single-core test. However, even though its overall score is lower than the average total score of the AMD Ryzen 5 3600, the Intel chip was awarded a higher benchmark percentage.
