Rumours about Xiaomi releasing a Mi Mix 4 are doing the rounds again, despite Xiaomi apparently having rebranded its Mi Mix 3 successor the Mix 2020. Brought to our attention by the likes of Gizchina, outlets are citing a Geekbench listing titled "Xiaomi Mi Mix 4". Searching for the listing on Geekbench V5 reveals no comparable results, though. No new "Mi Mix 4" listings have appeared on the website since December, either.
Digging deeper, the /LEAKS account from which this screenshot was posted has been deleted too. Google has cached the post though, straightforwardly called "Mi MIX 4 WITH SNAPDRAGON 865+". Not only does the deletion of the post and the account from which it was published spell trouble for this leak, but Qualcomm is also unlikely to release a Snapdragon 865+, either.
In short, there is no truth in this latest leak about the Mi Mix 4. Do not be fooled by it. As XDA Developers demonstrated last year, it is simple to fake a Geekbench listing. That is not to say all benchmark listings of unreleased hardware have been faked, but this one for the Mi Mix 4 certainly has been.
