Xiaomi rolls out another Android 9.0 Pie update to the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro just days before it makes MIUI 12 available
While Xiaomi has promised to update the CC9 Pro to Android 10 this month, it looks unlikely that its Global or EU Mi Note 10 series siblings will receive the same treatment. As we previously reported, Global handsets started receiving their latest Android 9.0 Pie-based MIUI 11 update last week, effectively ending any ideas that they will receive Android 10 in April.
Now EU handsets have started receiving their allotted April update, and it is based on Android 9.0 Pie too. V11.0.17.0.PFDEUXM will arrive as an OTA upgrade, and is a 912.7 MB download. MIUI 11 Updates has posted links to the OTA and the full recovery ROM hosted on Xiaomi's servers though, should you wish to install the update manually.
Gallingly, the update comes just days before Xiaomi is due to launch MIUI 12. Available from April 27 according to Gizmochina and IT Home, we would not bet on the Mi Note 10 or Mi Note 10 Pro receive an OS upgrade anytime soon, either.
