The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 smartphone lineup recently got larger thanks to the release of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite variant. The new addition to the series shares the same decent-sized 5,260 mAh battery as the regular Mi Note 10, and Xiaomi has been busy bragging about the various runtimes users can expect from the Lite model.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite smartphone might not be one for photography aficionados, but it could appeal to potential buyers who value battery life at a high level. Xiaomi has decided to offer up numerous statistics in regard to battery life so that users can see what to expect from the meaty 5,260 mAh battery (see image below). Prices for the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite start at €349 (US$382), which is for the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant.

According to the Chinese OEM, the standby time for the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is up to 23 days. If leaving your phone on standby for such an incredible amount of time isn’t a unique selling point, then Xiaomi suggests you could manage 178 hours of music playback if you had nothing better to do for that week and a bit, or you could catch up on 33 hours of reading on the new smartphone instead. 4G calling can last for a solid 33 hours or there is a possible 23 hours of video playback apparently to be enjoyed if you haven't already binge-watched everything on Netflix yet.

After 13 hours of very useful GPS tracking for the extremely lost is mentioned, Xiaomi reckons users could also indulge in a total of 14 hours of gaming on the Mi Note 10 Lite. Unsurprisingly, the manufacturer does not state the exact settings the phone is operating under to achieve that runtime, with one wag suggesting minimum brightness, no audio and playing a casual game such as Tetris. The promo image ends with stating that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite can deliver 6.8 hours of FHD video recording before the battery runs out of charge. Somewhat suspiciously, Xiaomi doesn't offer a battery-life statistic for web-browsing use.
