Android 10 updates for the Mi A3 have not gone smoothly. First arriving well after upgrading its other Android One smartphones, Xiaomi has had to pull the Android 10 update for the Mi A3 several times because of bugs.
Now, Xiaomi has rolled out the Android 10 update to the Mi A3 in Europe. A 1.33 GB update, the update is already live as an OTA. However, Xiaomi stresses that it is rolling it out in batches, so your device may not have received a notification to download the update yet.
Nonetheless, you may want to stay away from this initial European Android 10 update. According to the ensuing thread on Mi.com multiple handsets are experiencing excessive battery drain, lags and the camera shutter speed being limited to 1/4 in pro mode. Worse still, these issues have persisted for some people even after a factory reset. Some devices are unaffected though, so you may have no issues with upgrading your Mi A3 to Android 10.
