Xiaomi has released plenty of smartphones since it announced the Mi Mix 3 in October 2018, but a commercially-available new Mi Mix is not one of them. We cannot forget the Mi Mix Alpha, but good luck buying one of those. With Xiaomi bringing its Note series back and revitalising POCO, it seems odd for the Mi Mix brand to have been left so neglected.
While there have been many false starts with the next Mi Mix smartphone, the topic is picking up speed again and not because of rumours. Instead, Xiaomi has registered a new Weibo account for the Mi Mix series called MIX Weibo.
According to Ice Universe, the Mi Mix 4 will be Xiaomi's "most perfect flagship" of 2020. Arriving after Xiaomi starts releasing stable versions of MIUI 12, rumour has it that the device will feature a 2K and 120 Hz-capable display with narrow bezels. Additionally, the Mi Mix 4 is said to include the macro camera from the K30 Pro. These rumoured specifications remain unsubstantiated, but we would expect Xiaomi to bring the Mi Mix series back with a bang.
