Rumor | Xiaomi Mi Mix 2020 or Mi 10S Pro to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and 144 MP camera

We recently reported about a possible new Mi Mix device in the works from Xiaomi, which may find itself being called either the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 or Mi Mix 2020…or something entirely different. There are many fans of the Chinese OEM that would love to see a Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, which according to a new rumor, could end up with a Snapdragon 865, a 144 MP primary sensor, and a 120 Hz curved display.

The latest rumors, courtesy of Xiaomishka, point to a device with the codename “Verthandi”. This codename for a Xiaomi smartphone appeared back in April, when it was linked with the Mi 10 series and made mention of the Snapdragon 865 being part of the package. However, the Xiaomi tipster now believes this phone could be either the Xiaomi Mi 10S Pro or a new model from the Mi Mix series.

So, along with the aforementioned curved screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, it now seems a little bit more of the Xiaomi “Verthandi” puzzle can be completed thanks to the reminder of the processor and the revelation of the potential 144 MP camera. One commentator has suggested that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4/Mi Mix 2020/Mi 10S Pro could actually come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor, which is expected to be released in either late 2020 or early 2021.
