Alleged Xiaomi 120 W charger turns up in hands-on video - possible hint of upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone
A short hands-on video of what looks like a Xiaomi charger has been uploaded onto Weibo. The extraordinary thing about the vital smartphone accessory is that it appears to be rated for 120 W, with a screenshot taken by ITHome providing the supposed power-related data: 20 V/6 A MAX, 20 V/5 A MAX, 11 V/6 A MAX.
At the moment, Xiaomi hasn’t got a smartphone in its lineup that could utilize 120 W quick charging; however, it has been strongly rumored that a future Mi Mix smartphone would be able to use the company’s already teased 100 W fast-charging technology, which has been shown to charge a 4,000-mAh battery in just 17 minutes.
Of course, it might be a fake clip and not actually be a 120 W Xiaomi fast charger at all. But it’s not unreasonable to opine that a future Xiaomi Mi Mix, which is already allegedly coming with very impressive specs such as an SD865, 120 Hz display, and 144 MP main camera, could be configured to accept 120 W charging too.
