The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is now the Mix 2020, has 100W charging and a 120Hz display: new leak
Earlier, Xiaomi had apparently killed the prospect of a direct successor to the Mi Mix 3, a high-end phone with an innovative manual slider. Now, however, a new tip from Digital Chat Station has re-energized speculation that such a phone is happening after all.
Then again, it may not be called the Mi Mix 4 as expected. Instead, the translated text of the leaker's Weibo post on this subject hints it will be called the MIX 2020 - or the Mi Mix 2020, perhaps: not even the super-powered Alpha has dropped that convention. On that note, it is just possible this "new Mix" is being developed as a slightly more conventional companion to that ground-breaking device as it continues to experience delayed availability.
Digital Chat Station has also raised the possibility that, like other rumored premium mobile devices of the near future, the "2020 Mix" may have a display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This may be joined by Super Turbo, Xiaomi's extensively teased yet unimplemented new 100 watt (W) charging system for smartphones. This upcoming standard is rated to fill a 4000mAh battery in just 17 minutes.
