The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 finds its way onto Android 10
The Mi Mix 3 remains one of Xiaomi's current flagships, strictly speaking, despite being released just over a year ago. The device received MIUI 11 relatively quickly too, with Xiaomi including it in the first phase of its release schedule. However, while the likes of the Mi 9 started receiving Android 10 builds of MIUI 11 in November, the Mi Mix 3 languished on Android 9.0 Pie instead.
Xiaomi had brought the device up to V11.0.4.0 last year, but it has now downgraded it to V11.0.1.0 while upgrading it to Android 10. The OS upgrade is only available on the China Stable program for the time being, but previous rollouts indicate that it should not be long before Xiaomi brings other regions onto Android 10. The changelog for V11.0.1.0.QEECNXM is as follows:
System
- Stable MIUI based on Android 10
Lockscreen, status bar, Notification shade
- Fix: Couldn’t open notification settings in the Notification shade in Second space
Other
- Fix: Images overlapped in scrolling screenshots
You can download the build from Xiaomi's servers if you want to manually upgrade your Mi Mix 3 to Android 10. Alternatively, you can download the build from Xiaomi.eu, which can be found at Android File Host or SourceForge. You must have unlocked and flashed TWRP to your Mi Mix 3 to install Xiaomi.eu ROMs, though.
