Yet another leak has surfaced, painting an extremely attractive picture of the supposed upcoming Mi Mix 4. Some major touted features include a variable 120 Hz display with a QHD+ resolution, a 108 MP main shooter, quad rear camera setup, and an under-display dual selfie camera system. Sadly, dreams are just that...dreams.

Xiaomi’s touted launch of the Mi Mix 4 has been something of a rollercoaster so far. The flagship phone was expected a couple of months ago, but the company chose to release the Mi Mix Alpha concept phone instead. Since then, there’s been conflicting information over the release of the phone. A new leak surfaced, once again painting an extremely attractive picture. But like those before it, it’s fake.

The leak claimed the Mi Mix 4 would feature a curved QHD+ display, with a variable display refresh rate of 60 Hz, 90 Hz, and 120 Hz. A Snapdragon 855+ was said to be under the hood, along with UFS 3.0 storage, a 12 MP + 2 MP under-display dual selfie camera setup, and a 108 MP + 20 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP quad rear camera setup. Incredible, right? Yeah. Fake, too.

Xiaomi’s Product Manager Wang Teng Thomas has promptly called out the leak as fake. Most of those specifications don’t seem outrageous but having all of them on one device isn’t Xiaomi’s modus operandi, and one would have had to be pretty naive to believe said leak in the first place. Interestingly, the leak claims Xiaomi will vehemently deny it, in an attempt to keep the Mix 4's release as a New Year's surprise.

Yeah, we're not buying that, dude. It’s safe to assume at this point that the Mi Mix 4 will not be coming. Not anytime soon, at least.
