In what must be one of the most lowkey announcements of 2020, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi Note 10 Lite is on the way. Arriving on April 30 alongside the Redmi Note 9 series, the Mi Note 10 Lite appears to be the Mi Note 10 without its 108 MP camera.

The FCC and the NBTC have already confirmed the existence of the Mi Note 10 Lite and now has Xiaomi, sort of. In a somewhat confusing post on Mi Community, Xiaomi has asked fans to guess what device it will reveal on April 30 despite also posting a marketing image of what it has labelled the Mi Note 10 Lite.  Xiaomi is not known for keeping secrets, but this one will take some beating.

Based on an FCC filing, the Mi Note 10 Lite has a 6.47-inch display, a 5,260 mAh battery and 30 W charging. Unlike the Mi Note 10, the Mi Note 10 Lite will also ship with Android 10. Additionally, the device will include five rear-facing cameras, the primary of which will be a 64 MP sensor. There will be two telephoto sensors, an ultra-wide, and a macro sensor too.

Not only will the Mi Note 10 Lite look like the Mi Note 10, but it will also feature a Snapdragon 730G SoC. Furthermore, Xiaomi looks to be offering the Lite in three colours, as it does with the Mi Note 10. However, there will be a purple option in place of the green colourway that the Mi Note 10 has.

You can watch the livestream here on April 30 at 20:00 China Standard Time (UTC+08:00) where the Mi Note 10 Lite will be announced alongside the Redmi Note 9 series.
