Huawei has ditched the design of the FreeBuds 3, according to leaked renders of new TWS earbuds published by WinFuture. Featuring a white design, silicone tips, ANC and a compact charging case, the FreeBuds 3i will likely be pitched as AirPods Pro competitors.

Huawei has developed a new set of TWS earbuds, the FreeBuds 3i. Brought to our attention by WinFuture via Caschys Blog, the new set of TWS earbuds resemble a cross between the FreeBuds 3 and the original FreeBuds. The FreeBuds 3i look somewhat like the Apple AirPods Pro, too.

According to WinFuture, the FreeBuds 3i will support active noise cancellation (ANC), which will allow them to reduce background noise by up to 24 dB(A). Additionally, the FreeBuds 3i will support Bluetooth 2.1 and 5.0 connectivity, along with a feature called Quick Pairing for smartphones running EMUI 10.0 or newer.

Each earbud also has a 10 nm driver and two microphones. A 37 mAh battery is onboard too, with Huawei including a 410 mAh battery in the earbuds' charging case. The latter weighs 51 g according to WinFuture, with each earbud tipping the scales at 5.5 g.

Speculated to be launched alongside the Nova 7 series yesterday, WinFuture did not give a date for when Huawei would release the FreeBuds 3i. The website did not disclose any pricing details, either.
